OCAM 4X4 Acessories branded Items that are not currently in stock and are placed on backorder require a 50% deposit at the time of order. Once the item becomes available, the customer will be notified. The item must be picked up within 10 business days of notification. Failure to pick up the item within this period, without prior written notice or arrangement, may result in forfeiture of the deposit and restocking of the item.
SPECIAL ORDERS POLICY
For all special orders(Not OCAM Branded and all custom orders), a non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of purchase. Special orders include items such as custom-made, personalised, or specifically requested products that are not part of our standard inventory. Typically, these items are held at our local supplier warehouses, identified on our website as "Distribution Centre" stock
By placing a special order, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Non-Refundable Deposit: The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellations, changes to the order, or returns.
Payment of Balance: The remaining balance, if applicable, must be paid in full before the order is shipped or available for pickup.
Processing and Delivery Times: Special orders may require extended processing and delivery times. Specific timelines will be communicated at the time of purchase.
Cancellations and Modifications: Once placed. special orders cannot be cancelled or modified without prior approval from our team. Additional charges may apply for any approved changes. Special orders that are fulfilled and wish to be returned will occur a 20% restocking fee and any delivery charges occurred and the cost to return the goods back the closest distributor warehouse.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

SELF FIT (DIY) SUSPENSIONS
DIY suspension fitment does not affect the warranty application or term as long as the following conditions are adhered to:
A fitting sheet is completed prior to the suspension being fitted and filed for later reference.
The above fitment sheet accurately and clearly includes bottom of rim to wheel arch measurements for all four corners of the vehicle both before and after fitment, as well as at the 500KM check service.
U-Bolts must be replaced at the time of fitment. U-Bolts are a 'stretch fit' item, and should not be torqued to tightness twice. Reusing U-Bolts puts the vehicle and occupants at risk.
CREDIT & WARRANTY RETURNS
Goods for credit or exchange must be returned within fourteen (14) days of invoice date accompanied by a completed Returns Form. Goods returned for the purpose of warranty claim must be accompanied by the Returns Form along with a copy of the customer invoice. Freight for returned goods can be arranged by the returning party or by 4 Way Suspension, but in both cases, the associated costs remain the responsibility of the returning party. 15% OF THE TOTAL VALUE OF THE RETURNED GO0DS WILL BE CHARGED IN THE EVENT THAT REPACKAGING IS REQUIRED
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Parts that have been incorrectly installed.
Struts that have been assembled with the use of any tool other than hand tools (no rattle guns or impact tools).
Load bearing strut bushes that have been tightened while hanging. Strut bushes must be tightened while the vehicle is on the ground supporting its own weight.
Interference between shock absorber and other suspension components.
Parts that have been involved in a motor vehicle accident or have been bent or have been physically damaged by impact of any kind.
Parts showing evidence of improper tightening of the mounting bolts causing parts to wear or bend.
Gripping tool marks (vice grips or multi grips) or any other tool made marks on the polished chrome section of the shock absorber shaft.
All parts subjected to abuse.
All parts used in racing or competition events of any description.
Fair wear & tear components (including bushings - warranted for 12 months from date of purchase as a component of the shock absorber).
Any special-order parts (in which case the warranty is limited to manufacturing defects)*.
Parts fitted to vehicles weighing more than original GVM or the revised GVM specified by a Tough Dog GVM upgrade.
*Please Note: Any components built to a special order or specification outside the catalogue listings is covered by warranty limited to manufacturing defects. The manufacturer is unable to guarantee the suitability of components for an application for which has not been tested. Failure arising as a result of the application is excluded.
No problem! You may return or exchange any product within 30 days, as long as the item is in resalable condition and is returned in its original packaging. You will be responsible for the original and return shipping charges and a restocking fee of 10%. This also applies to orders cancelled during transit. If your original purchase price includes shipping, please contact us to confirm the original shipping cost. A refund, credit or replacement will be issued after we have received the package and confirm the item is in a resalable condition. Returns will not be accepted if you contact us after 30 days of receiving the item.
